Host Your Next Retreat in Aravaipa Canyon, Arizona

Planning a retreat is about more than finding enough beds. The setting matters.

At Aravaipa Farms Orchard & Inn, groups have space to slow down, spread out, gather together, and step away from the pace of everyday life. Tucked near the west entrance of Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness in southeastern Arizona, the property offers a quiet desert setting surrounded by orchard trees, mountain views, dark skies, and access to one of Arizona’s most distinctive wilderness areas.

Whether you’re planning a yoga retreat, art workshop, wellness weekend, creative gathering, educational program, or small group getaway, Aravaipa Farms offers a flexible setting for multi-day retreats.

A Private Retreat Setting in the Arizona Desert

Aravaipa Farms sits on 46 acres of orchard and desert landscape, giving groups room to gather without feeling crowded.

Instead of a traditional hotel setup, guests stay across a collection of casitas, houses, and unique accommodations spread throughout the property. This creates a more relaxed retreat atmosphere, with shared gathering spaces alongside plenty of room for quiet time.

For groups that need additional space for workshops, classes, or creative sessions, we can also help identify areas of the property that work well for group activities.

Lodging for Small Group Retreats

Our retreat lodging includes a mix of private casitas and larger homes, allowing groups to create a rooming plan that fits different needs and budgets.

Depending on the size and structure of the retreat, accommodations can include the Farmhouse, Strawbale House, Treehouse Casita, Garden Casita, Mountain Casita, Orchard Casita, Blue Door Casita, and Airstream.

The property can accommodate approximately 30 guests, making it especially well suited for intimate retreats where participants can actually spend time together.

Meals and Retreat Planning

For select group retreats, we can work with organizers on simple meal service and group food planning.

Menus are designed around the needs of each retreat and may include breakfast items, soups, salads, grain bowls, baked goods, seasonal produce, and other relaxed farmhouse-style meals.

Because every group is different, retreat planning is handled directly rather than through a one-size-fits-all package.

Close to Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness

One of the biggest advantages of hosting a retreat here is the location.

Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness is known for its flowing creek, towering canyon walls, wildlife, and remote feel. Access is limited by permit, which helps preserve the quiet character of the area.

Retreat organizers can build free time into their schedules for hiking, nature walks, photography, stargazing, or simply resting on the property.

Even for guests who never enter the canyon, the surrounding landscape creates the sense of being far removed from city life.

Ideal for Yoga, Art, Wellness, and Creative Retreats

Aravaipa Farms can be a good fit for a wide range of small group retreats, including:

  • Yoga and wellness retreats

  • Painting and photography workshops

  • Writing and creative retreats

  • Educational programs

  • Nature-based gatherings

  • Meditation and mindfulness retreats

  • Small team or leadership retreats

The property works especially well for groups looking for something more personal and less commercial than a large resort or conference center.
